Immuno-oncology: How to get the immune system to beat cancer
Description
Background
This Royal Society conference will bring together scientists from both industry and academia, investors, charities, regulators and other interested parties to discuss immuno-oncology therapies and explore routes to removing the barriers to their use.
The event will have a technology focus, introducing the current established on-market therapies and more recent technologies in development now and in the future. Experts will discuss the key barriers and pitfalls facing the use of new therapies, and lessons learned along the way before an open panel discussion on market drivers, investment into the sector and regulation required with new innovations. A closing keynote will give an outlook towards what could be possible within the next 10 – 20 years.
